Burns Suppers
Last week, we were performing at three events to celebrate Burns. Our partial snow closure meant that Lauren, Lauren, Zoey and Aileen saved the day and, with their Parents, drew up a last minute programme which they performed at The Rotary Burns Supper on Tuesday. Our school Burns Supper sold out very quickly and was a great success. Musical entertainment was provided by The Ceilidh Band, Isla and Helen, Zoey, Molly and Megan, Graham, Bruce and Kayleigh. And on Friday, Aileen, Zoey, Caitlin, Helen, Kayleigh and Bruce were in Aberlour Primary School performing to the children in the Nursery. Zoey, Aileen and Bruce went on to help P4/5/6 with their celebrations. Congratulations to everyone who performed and particular mention must be made of Zoey and Aileen for stepping in to provide and organise a programme for the Burns Supper on Tuesday.
Heart and Soul 2013
We received information today about a Youth Challenge which is to take place in Princes Street Gardens, Edinburgh on 19 May. It gives people of secondary school age an opportunity to perform and is organised by The Church of Scotland. If you are interested you can check out the link: http://www.heartandsoul2013.org.uk/
